The AMC is the joint civil–military body responsible for the Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA) within the Nicosia FIR. It coordinates and allocates airspace activities to ensure safety and efficiency.
Airspace users must submit an official Airspace Reservation Request Form to AMC Cyprus. Requests are processed according to national FUA procedures and availability within the Nicosia FIR.
a) 3 working days for published D/TSA/TRA areas.
b) 7 working days for existing ad-hoc areas.
c) 20 working days for large-scale military exercises or new areas.
The Airspace Use Plan (AUP) and Updated Airspace Use Plan (UUP) are published daily on the AMC Cyprus website under Airspace Briefing.
AMC Cyprus uses the LARA (Local and Sub-Regional Airspace Management Support System) for real-time coordination and airspace allocation between civil and military authorities.
Contact Cyprus AMC and receive a response within 24 hours.
